If you find library books over the summer please feel free to drop them off at any branch of the Chippewa River District Library.
They will hold the books for us until the Fall. Thanks! The Media Center consists of a library with over 16,000 books and reference materials. The Media Center has 49 computers on the main floor available for class and student use. Eight of those computers have additional software available. The Media Center also has a self contained computer lab with 30 computers.Students may use the Media Center during lunch periods if classes are not scheduled. At other times students may enter the Media Center with a written pass from a classroom teacher or administrator. Passes must be presented to the Media Assistants listed above.
The High School Media Center partners with the Chippewa River District Library (CRDL) to provide even more resources to our high school students. Student may requests books from libraries within the CRDL network and have the materials delivered to the High School Media Center. Students and staff are also able to return CRDL materials to the High School Media Center and have them circulated back to their home library.
Mr. Klak compiled a List of Books that should be read by any student interested in furthering their education beyond high school. The list includes both fiction and non-fiction selections.
To use Mount Pleasant School computers students must fill out an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for District Technology Systems form. The Media Assistants will not be able to provide a login/password to use the school computers until this AUP form is signed by the student, a parent/guardian, and returned to the Media Center.
