Media Center Hours:7:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
The Media Center consists of a library with almost 18,000 books and reference materials. The Media Center has 49 computers on the main floor available for class and student use. Eight of those computers have additional software available. The Media Center also has a self contained computer lab with 30 computers.After school tutoring is available in the Media Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Teachers are available to work with students on Math, Social Studies, English, Science and World Languages. Students are also able to utilize the print and computer resources during this time.
The High School Media Center partners with the Chippewa River District Library (CRDL) to provide even more resources to our high school students. Student may requests books from libraries within the CRDL network and have the materials delivered to the High School Media Center. Students and staff are also able to return CRDL materials to the High School Media Center and have them circulated back to their home library.To use computers at school students must fill out an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for District Technology Systems form. The Media Assistants will not be able to provide a login/password to use the computers at the school until this AUP form is signed and returned to the Media Center.
Students may use the Media Center during lunch periods if classes are not utilizing it. At other times students may enter the Media Center with a written pass from a regular classroom teacher or administrator. Passes must be presented to the Media Assistants listed below.
