  • - Due to weather and the cancellation of school Parent Teacher Conferences will not be rescheduled. We will be mailing out 3rd marking period report cards. Grades can always be looked up on Powerschool.

    - February 20th there will be a Big Wacky Ball Game held in the gym from 6:30-8:30. Everyone is welcomed to participate. If you have any questions please contact Bianca Brown.

    - Any boys interested in playing golf there is an informational meeting in the cafeteria right after school on February 22nd.

    -This years spring musical "Nice Work if You Can Get It" is coming up! This comedy pokes fun at the prohibition era in a clash of elegant socialities and ill-mannered bootleggers. Show times are February 22nd and 23rd at 7:30pm, matinee 2:30pm on Sunday February 24th, and March 1st and 2nd at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 and will be available online and at the door.      -The Creative Writing Club will be hosting a pizza event in room 221. It will take place at 3:00 PM on February 25th. There will be fun writing activities, snacks, and it will be an introduction to the club itself. If you wish to attend a normal club meeting, we meet on Mondays after school in the same room, same time.

    -Anyone interested in running Track this spring there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday February 27th after school. Boys will meet in Room 111 and girls will meet in the Media Center

    - Attendance appeals are available to be picked up in the AP office. They are due Friday March 1st.

    -The 2019 Mr. Mount Pleasant Competition is coming up on March 9th! We are calling all MPHS guys to participate. Please pick up an application packet in Wisch's room 605 or from Carlie Lux. Proceeds from business entry fees, ticket sales, and donations will go to the winner's charity of choice.

    -Spring Sports will begin on Monday March 11th. You must have a physical on file in the Athletic office before March 11, in order to try out. 

    -The Sex Ed Advisory Board is in need of some members to fill spots being vacated by current members. Therefore, volunteer opportunities are available. 

     Mt. Pleasant Public Schools is accepting applications for four (4) seats on the Sex Ed Advisory Board. This is a three (3) year term.
            Responsibilities for this position include:  
                1.  Attending 3-4 meetings per year (max meeting time is 1 1/2 hours)
                2.  Review and recommend instructional materials which are a part of the comprehensive sexual health program
                3.  Review methods of instruction and assist in evaluation
                4.  Review policy and/or State guidelines and make recommendations to the Board of Education for needed
                     changes

    -Tutoring is available after school Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Media Center and Wednesdays in the cafeteria.
