    -MPHS is hosting a Coke Bottle Cap Collection. A drop off bucket is located in the principal’s office. This is a great way to raise money for our school. Stop on in to the office to drop yours off.

    -Breakfast is now FREE for all high school students starting April 29th from 7:00am-7:45am in the cafeteria. Food cannot be taken outside of the cafeteria. You can go to mtpleasantschools.net to see the menu!

    -Students who plan to dual enroll for next fall should make an appointment with their counselor by the end of April. If you did not attend the dual enrollment information meeting, the links of information are on the Counseling web page on the high school website.

    -MPHS play production class presents Subtext, a comedy by Tyler Dwiggins. Production dates are May 9th and 10th at 7:30 in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 pre-sale or $6 at the door. We hope to see you there.

     -The Sex Ed Advisory Board is in need of some members to fill spots being vacated by current members. Therefore, volunteer opportunities are available. 

     Mt. Pleasant Public Schools is accepting applications for four (4) seats on the Sex Ed Advisory Board. This is a three (3) year term.
            Responsibilities for this position include:  
                1.  Attending 3-4 meetings per year (max meeting time is 1 1/2 hours)
                2.  Review and recommend instructional materials which are a part of the comprehensive sexual health program
                3.  Review methods of instruction and assist in evaluation
                4.  Review policy and/or State guidelines and make recommendations to the Board of Education for needed
                     changes

    -Tutoring is available after school Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Media Center and Wednesdays in the cafeteria.

     Senior Need to Know Information

    -Remember to check all the important information including scholarships available on the counseling page.

    -There is still plenty of time to order cap and gown materials from Josten's. Go to jostens.com and select Mt. Pleasant High School.

    -Attention Seniors: prom tickets are available in Wisch’s room. Tickets are $50 and you must have the prom behavior letter signed and all lost and damaged issues remedied before buying a ticket. Prom doors open at 7, dinner at 7:30. Previous communication indicated 6pm but that is incorrect. 7 pm is the magic number! Friday, April 26th will be the last day to purchase prom tickets. Tickets can not be purchased at the door.
