New Student Enrollment

If your student resides outside of the district, please read the following information: School of Choice

Steps for enrolling a student at MPHS:

  1. Complete the enrollment paperwork. The online enrollment forms are linked below and can be completed at your convenience.

  2. Once the Counseling Office receives the notification that you have completed all required forms and verifies the information, the request for records will be sent to the students previous school.

  3. When a copy of the student’s transcript, grades at time of withdrawal, and copy of IEP (if applicable) are received, the Counseling Office Secretary will call to schedule an appointment with your the student’s counselor to select classes together. If the student would like a tour of the school, arrangements can be made at that time.

  4. Typically the student can start within 48 hours, after the scheduling appointment. Teachers must be given 24 hour notice when a new student is starting school and time is needed to generate login passwords for PowerSchool and Google.

  5. The counseling office can also make arrangements for someone show the student around to their classes, lunch, office, etc. on their first day.

Schedules are found in PowerSchool (ps.mpps.edzone.net/public) Login information can be obtained from the Counseling Office or Main Office.
