Congratulations to our Greater Gators for September! These students showed qualities of self-control and respect!
Coins for a Cause starts today! The funds raised will be split between the United Way (in support of local homeless shelters) and Ganiard student council (in support of holiday shopping for some Ganiard families in need). All classrooms have a jar to collect coins! The class that collects the most money earns a pizza party! Let's show our support Gators!
We had our first tornado drill of the year. We are required to do 2 a year. The students did a great job getting to their designated locations quickly. We are posting this so that you are aware and in case your children have any questions.

Mrs. Wood, our speech teacher, came in to teach some classes about communication devices and how some people need to use them to communicate. They even got to try and communicate with their group using the device! Most of the students call these devices a talker!
