MPPS 1:1 Chromebook Initiative

Through the generous support of the Mount Pleasant Community, Mount Pleasant Public Schools is able to launch a 1:1 Chromebook program for the 2022-2023 school year. The following will take place in the fall of 2022.

  • All students in grades 6-12 will be provided a Chromebook and case for school use which may be taken home every evening to complete school work. It will be expected that every student will return the Chromebook fully charged for classroom use the next day.

  • All elementary students will be provided a Chromebook in class for use while at school. These Chromebooks will not go home with students and will be charged in their classrooms for the next day's use.

Distribution Information:

We will be distributing Chromebooks to grades 6-12 following the schedule below. All Chromebooks will be picked up and signed for at the HIGH SCHOOL Media Center. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the Chromebook Agreement.

Important Information:

At the time of pickup, a parent or guardian will be asked to sign our MPPS Chromebook Guidelines. This is required for the student to receive a device. Students will also be asked to sign the MPPS Student Acceptable Use Policy. Please click on the links to view these documents in advance. Many of your questions can be answered here.
