The Mt Pleasant Public Schools is now accepting applications for the open position of Trustee on the MPPS Board of Education. The candidate selected for this position will be appointed to a term that expires on December 31, 2026.
Interested applicants should submit their letter of interest to the Superintendent, Jennifer Verleger, by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

What qualities, skills and experience do you bring to the board?
An average month for a school board member includes about two to five scheduled meetings and perhaps another three school or community-related activities. In addition,there is daily email correspondence, required reading, and district updates. How will you fit this into your schedule?
