Our summer food program begins next week. See picture for more information. In addition to meal distribution at MPHS, we will also be serving meals on site at Vowles and Ganiard. Please share this with our families and community members.

Good morning Fancher Families, Just a friendly reminder today is Field Day for our students, some students will be participating this morning and some this afternoon. Families are invited to join their Fancher student for Lunch on the Lawn 11:30-12:30 today. Please RSVP with the link here https://shorturl.at/8PKk6, this will help our teachers know if someone is coming to join a student for lunch. As you enter through our front office of Fancher, you will meet your student outside of their classroom at 11:30am. Bring a blanket or towel to sit outside on Kinney Ave. lawn or on the playground lawn. Outside food is welcome to bring in for you and your student, sack lunches are still available if your child needs one. Thanks, Fancher Staff

Hi Families, For our "Lunch on the Lawn" portion of Field Day next Monday, June 3rd, families are invited to join their student for lunch 11:30-12:30. Feel free to bring a blanket or towel to sit on for the outside lunch, outside food is welcome. Sack lunches will still be available for your student to order if they need one. On Monday, you will meet your student at their classroom to pick up , before heading outside with them to eat. If you have any questions, please chat with your student's teacher.

Fancher 5th graders are touring the middle school this morning to learn more about 6th grade! Former Fancher 6th and 7th graders shared their Top 10 List! Be sure to pencil in and save the date for 6th grade Orientation Aug. 21st 2-5:30pm.

Have you recently moved? If so, please call our office to notify us and also log-in to your Final Forms account here https://mtpleasant-mi.finalforms.com/ to update your address online. We need to change your address for our records and we want to be sure any summer and Back to School mailings get to you, including teacher welcome letters in August! If your address is no longer a Fancher address, you will need to fill out School of Choice paperwork to stay at Fancher Elementary for the 2024-2025 School Year. We want to ensure your child's enrollment and classroom placement for next year is not last minute and stressful for you. Please be sure to keep us updated throughout the summer. In honor of Mother’s Day, we are teaming up with United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties to collect personal care items, cleaning products, and baby items that will be donated to local women in need! Benefiting organizations are Life Choices of Central Michigan, RISE Advocacy, The Care Store and CCN Infant Pantry. Swing by and drop-off your donations anytime from now through May 15! If you can’t make it and want to help, you can text MOM to 40403 to make a contribution.

Hi Fancher Families, We are gearing up to celebrate our Fancher Teachers & Staff during Teacher Appreciation - Week May 6th-10th. We are currently asking families and community members if they would like to help us thank our incredible educators by donating a $15-20 gift card to any restaurant or business (ex. Biggby, Jimmy Johns, Target, local eateries or businesses). Or families could donate via cash or check to Fancher Elementary PTO to the front office at Fancher by dropping off or sending in with their student by April 30th. Last year we were able to gift every staff member with a gift card during Teacher Appreciation Week. We appreciate all your support and help as we gear up to celebrate our staff. Fancher Elementary's Student Council will be running an internal collection drive for United for Moms from May 1st to May 15th. What is United for Moms? In honor of Mother’s Day, United Way is hosting a community-wide collection drive during the month of May. We will be collecting personal care items, cleaning products, and baby items that will be given to local women in need. Together, we can extend the loving power of moms to every child and build a better future for all! All collected items would be distributed to designated agencies, including The Care Store, Community Compassion Network, Life Choices of Central Michigan, and RISE.
