We want to thank our community first responders by inviting them to our annual Gratitude Drive-thru at Fancher hosted by Fancher Student Council. First Responders please join us outside along Kinney Avenue next Friday, October 27th between 9am-9:30am for coffee and donuts.

We are looking forward to meeting with families for Parent Teacher Conferences tonight and tomorrow. Please use the side entrances for 4th grade - Door 9 and 5th grade - Door 5 off of Kinney Ave. will be unlocked and open for you to enter. The back door from the High Street Parking Lot Door 2 will also be open for families. September's Falcons of the Month. We are proud of our students SOARing, as they have demonstrated safety, take ownership, keep a good attitude, and display respect. Each student was selected by a staff member and received a gold coin to select a book of their choice from our book vending machine. #FalconProud

Go Oilers! We had a few surprise visitors from the football team today. This is such an awesome tradition, senior football players Marcus, Dane, & Caleb came to visit a former teacher and asked them to wear their jersey at the game. #FalconProud

Fancher families - Student's picture galleries are now live! The parents should have received an email Sept. 23rd with the link to view and order their students pictures. The deadline to order for the first batch of pictures is 10/3. Fancher students & staff practiced in their first lockdown DRILL of the new school year. They did a great job securing their classrooms and getting to a safe spot. We will practice this at least three times this school year.

On Wednesday 4th grades visited Bryant Farms in honor of Rural Education Day. Students learned about many aspects of agriculture in Michigan including corn, insects, tractor safety and much more.
