Fancher Elementary -

We hope you can join us next Tuesday, February 28th at 8am for Breakfast with Books at Fancher Elementary. Bring your own breakfast and something to read with your student anytime between 8am and 8:40am, before school starts. Tables will be set up in the cafeteria and the gym for you to sit, park along Kinney Ave. and you can enter at the cafeteria or gym door. Also this will be a great time to check out our Spring Book Fair, which will be set up in the library. Families can shop online now or in person Feb. 27th-March 3rd.

Fancher Falcons have been working hard to earn Dojo Points by following S.O.A.R expectations. In January students had the opportunity to buy experiences with staff members or classmates and even a cup of hot cocoa! Everyone at Fancher is so proud of our students.

Student Council Sucker Sale all proceeds will go to the Homeless Shelter.

This morning half of our students reviewed positive behavior expectations for the school bus. We practiced entering and exiting the bus and talked with school bus drivers. The other half will practice Friday.

We were happy to welcome our Fancher Falcons back today! Students worked to review our school wide SOAR positive expectations for each area of the school from the classroom, to the cafeteria, hallway, and more. We will continue to reteach and review the positive expectations, which families can also review in the front of your student’s agenda. Students were focused on the new year with goal setting and some selecting one word as their focus to end the year. Great job Falcons! Let’s have a great 2023.

Fancher Falcons we are excited to see you back at school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 3rd. As a reminder families, morning drop-off and supervision begins at 8:35am on Kinney Ave. lawn. Please do not drop off before 8:35am. Students enter the building at 8:40am through their grade level doors. Please make sure you send your students with proper winter gear for outside recess, if weather permits. See you soon!

Hi Fancher families! We are so excited to be able to go to the Hoops for Hunger women's basketball game at CMU tomorrow! Students are encouraged to wear their CMU gear (maroon and gold) to support our home team! We will be leaving at 9:45 so please make sure your child arrives at school on time. We should be back around 2:00pm. As a reminder, this is a walking field trip. Students should dress appropriately for the weather. Just a reminder that your child MAY have signed up to receive a sack lunch from school but if they plan to bring their own from home, CONSIDER putting in a disposable paper or plastic bag that can be thrown out there. The kids also know there are concession stands and will be open, so you are more than welcome to send some money in with your child if he/she would like to purchase snacks from the concession stands. The lines can be rather long for concessions. Thanks so much and please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions!
