Thank you Chippewa River District Library for bringing in Martina Hahn, speed artist from Petoskey. She shared the legend of Sleeping Bear with storytelling, a short film and painted for us. She shared how she uses art, literature and music in her work.

Our 3rd and 5th graders attended the Pow Wow at the beautiful Wiimaajiikwad School. They were introduced to several types of dancing, invited to join in the round dance and try frybread. We are so proud of our very own Fancher Falcons who danced and shared their cultural traditions with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to participate. Miigwech!
